Hello Safran Experts,
I have a question and I hope to hear your insights.
When I simulate a device traveling at an uniform speed in Skydel, I’ve noticed that during a turning process, the speed captured by the receiver undergoes a decrease and then an increase. In my understanding, the GNSS simulator is simulating the heading speed, so I’m a bit puzzled as to why it would change. (Because I haven’t tested this in the real world yet, I don’t know if it’s the same situation.)
Additionally, during a turn, especially at high speeds, the GNSS receiver experiences a noticeable loss of lock, and the positioning error significantly increases. Is this due to the receiving capabilities of the GNSS receiver?
Thank you very much.
Here is a picture obtained with the help of Skydel and StudioView (the GNSS simulator transmitting signals).【These images are all tested under uniform speed conditions.】
