As you are already aware for sure, Skydel is using predefined models to simulate different power levels for each satellites depending on their position in the sky. SKYDEL takes in account several rules, dedicated signal strength model and also vehicle antenna pattern effect in order to play smart and realistic simulation cases.
In case you aim to simulate all satellites with exact same power, you can disable these models in a very easy way :
1- disable “signal strength model” in the SETTINGS / GLOBAL / SIGNAL LEVEL menu.
You can also take opportunity to change the Signal offset rules :
2-select “NONE” for antenna pattern model in the SETTINGS/VEHICLE/ANTENNA/MODELS
RESULT : After this setup done, you can see on main constellation menu that all satellites are set to the same power.
