I’m a Senior Research Associate working at the Australian Centre for Space Engineering Research at UNSW, Sydney. I’ve been working on GPS receiver firmware for almost 30 years and was involved in the development of Australia’s first locally developed GPS receiver, as well as Australia’s first locally made GPS receiver to successfully navigate in Low Earth Orbit on the SHARC CubeSat. I’ve also done work in GPS Reflectometry, mobile phone navigation using Assisted GPS, development of timing receivers. My PhD work related to developing techniques for mitigating GPS cross correlation interference (also known as multiple access interference).
