# Switching from Linux Ubuntu to Windows in a fielded GSG8

Hi,  
Is it possible to switch the Operating System from Linux Ubuntu to Windows in a fielded GSG8?  
If yes, could I have a written instruction please?

Hi Danny!

The GSG-8 is a turnkey system that uses Ubuntu Linux as the OS. We don’t have any process to change the OS on the GSG-8. Skydel can run on Ubuntu or Windows 10, but we don’t currently offer any turnkey system running Windows. You would need to bring your own hardware in order to have a Windows system.
