# Maximum leap second in Skydel

Dear Orolia community,

Note that in the GPS ICD, the second leap is coded on 8 signed bits, so the maximum value that can be entered in Skydel is 127 seconds, approximately 2 minutes. Skydel will not be able to handle higher values of leap second in Skydel.
